Our food grade potassium iodide is "chemically pure" - does not contain exipients. It is manufactured with pure water and does not contain Propyl alcohol. Although you can take our food grade potassium iodide internally as a supplement it can also be used externally, in fact potassium iodide is widely known to help maintain the strength of finger nails and hair.
